The monthly fee covers both your access to support as well as your site hosting fees, plugin upgrades and more. Your site is hosted on a professional grade server hosting environment with CDN deployment. Automatic WordPress updates are performed at the network level and tested to ensure your site is firing on all cylinders. You’ll get automatic feature updates to our own host of plugins as well! In addition, your site is backed up daily, to ensure you never have to worry.

You better believe we do. You will have the choice at sign up to SAVE  30% of our monthly plan by paying for a year up front, a savings of $540 per year!

You own all of the unique content on the website, UpliftCRE proprietary technology is non-transferable and 3rd party themes and plugins would have to be re-licensed in the event that you wanted to move your website to it’s own WordPress installation – the process of which is definitely not a straightforward copy/paste process and we’ll elaborate a bit more – In the event that you wanted to discontinue your UpliftCRE website and move to a separate WordPress installation:

  1. We will create a WordPress export file which would include all of your posts, pages and menu structure.
  2. You will need to hire a designer to recreate your UpliftCRE website design, and purchase all required 3rd party software. UpliftCRE websites are created on a highly customized premium WordPress theme that is not transferable outside our network.

The cost of doing an external site transfer is determined on a per site basis. Our hourly rate to package up your site is $75/hr and in most cases should only take 2hrs to complete for a basic website. Note: This is very important to mention – if you decide to move your site away from UpliftCRE you will lose all of our proprietary tools and features that come with your site.  Also as mentioned previously, 3rd party plugins and theme frameworks would have to be re-installed and in some cases re-licensed.

We offer unlimited email support, and we’ll help you with whatever you need! Included in your monthly hosting fee is 2 hours of support for minor revisions or tweaks.

The best way to take advantage of our support is by emailing [email protected] directly with your question or comment – our average response time is within a few hours  and this will allow us to thoroughly investigate your request and consult with other team members if and when necessary.

Our normal support hours are between 10-6 Central Standard Time.

After sign-up, you will receive an email with a list of the information we need to complete your website. Once you have that information gathered, you will be directed to our new client On-Boarding form to submit your information. Once we receive that information we will begin working on your website. Typical turn around time is about 5 business days from receipt, but may take as long as 10 business days if we have a influx of clients at the same time. Add on services may add up to 2 weeks for final completion depending on your add on service requests.

Maybe. If you are using any CRM that is integrated with Zapier, then the answer is YES. If you are using an industry specific commercial real estate CRM most of those do not integrate with 3rd party software. Absolutely NOT. Our managed hosting plans are month to month. However, if you pay for an entire year up front for the 30% annual discount, if you cancel during that year you will not receive a refund.

Since we are a month-to-month service, we do not issue refunds except in cases of service unavailability. You can cancel your account at any time from your user account dashboard, and your account will remain active until the end of your chosen subscription plan. Yes, let us explain how. We have chosen not to create built-in property listing management into our websites. While there are a multitude of reasons for this, the biggest is that people will not visit your website to see your listings. They visit your website to learn more about you and your services. If someone wants to see properties for sale or lease, they can visit websites like Loopnet or Crexi. And CRE software companies like Buildout and RealNex offer listing integration with our websites which are vastly superior to anything we (or our competitors) could create with WordPress. So if you use either of those services, we connect their app to your website, and when you create or update a listing, it will be automatically updated on your website. Trust us, this is the way to do it.

We manage our sites via WordPress Multisite, meaning that we manage all of your sites available plugins from one central control panel. For this reason you cannot add your own plugins – however if you need to add some sort of real estate related feature, we can almost always accommodate – and in most cases this is a benefit of UpliftCRE as we’ll generally have the best feature, or recommend the best way to accomplish what you’re looking to achieve within the site. If you require the level of control where for example – you want to add a plugin that makes a pink butterfly move across the screen, UpliftCRE may not be the best solution for you!

We take your site’s security very seriously – below is everything we do to secure our network!

  1. We back maintain regular backups of our sites and all related data. We keep these backups both on our network for quick recovery, and “off-site” with a different provider in the event of a disaster. So, if our provider were to suddenly implode with no notice, we would at the very least still have all of the data so we could get back online elsewhere without losing any data.
  2. We have a dedicated firewall in front of our servers. Our actual servers are disconnected from the outside world and cannot be accessed directly. All traffic, including loading a page on one of our sites, goes through the firewall. This allows us to very quickly spot and block any offending or questionable traffic if (when…) we need to.
  3. If there is any traffic that is questionable (but we can’t be 110% confident it is “bad”), or may potentially cause undue stress on our infrastructure (ie: something that could cause slowdown, such as bots and overly-aggressive “uptime checks”) we sandbox it so it does not affect anybody else. We don’t want to block legitimate traffic, so if we’re not completely sure it’s bad traffic, we just isolate it until we know for sure.
  4. Nobody—not even UpliftCRE devs–have direct access to the files that run your site. The only way to upload new files is our deployment system. Those files are run through a series of automated tests, and the upload is halted if something fails or there is anything questionable about them.
  5. We are a managed service, so no clients are able to upload via FTP or install their own plugins. All such requests have to go through UpliftCRE support. Any additional plugins that may be requested are tested and vetted to ensure that they do not compromise our network. This is done before such plugins come anywhere near live sites.

Sorry, that’s just not what we do.. A truly custom site takes months to complete. A custom site generally only pleases the website owner. The user doesn’t care about “Custom”. They care about determining if you are the agent that can help them with their CRE needs. Our website design and pre-written content achieves this without the need to spend thousands of dollars on an unproven design and content that could take months to complete, and then even more time to see what is working and not working and make corrections. With our sites you avoid all of that expense and headache.

That being said, we do understand if you need to customize some content here and there, and maybe need some custom pages done. That we can do.
